Description:
RTO after booking is not allowed and cannot be worked out onsite.
Any call-offs or additional RTO on the unit could possibly result in a cancellation.
DNR is required.
This position involves working in adult settings including vascular studies.
Skills required include abdominal aorta, renal/bladder assessments, arterial graft studies, arterial mapping, carotid evaluations, color flow studies, dialysis grafts, Doppler studies, duplex imaging, lower extremity arterial and venous assessments, M-mode techniques, peripheral vascular resistance testing, renal artery duplex imaging, stent evaluations, transcranial Doppler studies, upper extremity arterial and venous assessments, and overall vascular experience.
The patient population consists of true vascular patients with vein problems and swelling, many of whom are undergoing dialysis and port placement.
Tests being performed include mesenteric studies, AIC, CDUS, AAA, and ABI.
The imaging software used is Picom, and the primary equipment is Phillips.
Target ratios are 1:5, with an average daily census of 6-9 patients.
There are no call requirements, float requirements, or weekend work expected.
Daily patient care involves adult and geriatric populations.
The staffing structure may require interdisciplinary support depending on patient needs.
