Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist - Vascular Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Diagnostic Medical Sonography Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Current license required Certifications: ARDMS, BLS, RVT Must-Have: - Completion of a two-year Allied Health education program or Associate of Applied Science Degree - Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or Bachelor’s Degree - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - Current ARDMS credential in one or more specialties preferred Description: This role requires supporting vascular ultrasound services. Full-time shifts will vary between days and evenings, including weekends. Expect a minimum of 36 hours per week. Weekends will involve rotating 12-hour shifts approximately every 4 to 6 weeks. There will be no on-call requirements for this position. Candidates must have hands-on experience in vascular technology. The preferred qualifications include credentials in multiple specialties such as Abdomen, Client, and Pediatrics. Strong skills in various ultrasound techniques and procedures will be utilized. Interdisciplinary support will be available in the work environment. Applicants should also be willing to work with diverse patient age groups including adolescents, infants, children, adults, and geriatrics. Daily patient census is expected to be around 50 visits with multiple rooms available for ultrasound procedures. Compliance with vaccine requirements is necessary. All applicants should be capable of completing required trainings and certifications promptly. This position requires a commitment to patient care and an understanding of safety protocols.
