Job Title: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Ultrasound Tech - Vascular Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: 2 years License: Active Minnesota CNA license required Certifications: ARDMS, BLS, RVT Must-Have: Certificate completion of a two-year Allied Health education program or Associate of Applied Science Degree. Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program or Bachelor's Degree. Completion of a bachelor's degree. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA). Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certification. ARDMS credentials in one or more specialties preferred: Abdomen, Client, Pediatric, MSK. Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification. Vascular experience required. Description: Will support both assigned facilities. At least 36 hours per week, but not to exceed 40 hours per week. Shifts will alternate between Day and Evening, with every 4 to 6 weeks on staff weekend rotation. Variable weekly shifts will include combinations of 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts. Shift hours may include: 0700-1530, 0700-1730, 0730-1700, 0700-1930, 0830-2100. Staff rotate 12-hour shifts on weekends, approximately once every 4 to 6 weeks. No call required. First-timers are not accepted. Candidates should not live within 50 miles of the facility. Finalized time off must be included with submission, with no time off within the first week. No more than 7 days of time off per assignment. Daily census is approximately 50 patients, with about 45 visits per day. Experience with ultrasound skills including but not limited to: 1st trimester, 2nd trimester imaging, abdominal aorta, adult and pediatric imaging, arterial graft studies, bladder, breast, carotid, color flow, Doppler studies, and renal artery duplex. Daily responsibilities will include performing diagnostic ultrasounds, interpreting results, and collaborating with healthcare team members. Effective communication and patient interaction skills are essential. Adherence to infection control protocols and safety guidelines is required.
