Travel Vascular Tech - $2,646 to $2,846 per week in San Luis Obispo, CA

Join our team as an Echo Vascular Ultrasound Tech, also known as Echo Vascular Technologist, where you will perform both cardiac and vascular ultrasound examinations, prepare patients, document results, and ensure patient comfort throughout procedures while adhering to established protocols and safety standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (CCI-RCS): Required.
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or CCI Registered Vascular Specialist (CCI-RVS): Required.
• ARDMS Pediatric Echocardiography (ARDMS-PE) or CCI-RCCS: Required.
• Pediatric Echocardiography (PE) certification: Required.
• Fetal Echocardiography (FE) certification: Preferred.
• Two years experience as a cardiac ultrasound sonographer or completion of a one-year certified cardiac ultrasound course: Preferred.
• Two years experience as a vascular sonographer or completion of a certified vascular sonographer course: Preferred.
• Two years experience as a pediatric cardiac sonographer or completion of a certified pediatric sonography course: Preferred.
• One year experience as a fetal ECHO sonographer or completion of a certified fetal ECHO sonography course: Preferred.
• Basic Life Support (AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS) certification: Required.
• Demonstrated ability to perform M-Mode with calculations, comprehensive 2-D imaging with required views and calculations, and Doppler echo with analysis.
• Ability to obtain and interpret information appropriate to age-specific needs, including pediatric and geriatric patients.
