Job Title: Vascular Ultrasound Tech Profession: Sonographer Specialty: Vascular Duration: Travel position Shift: Day shift Hours per Shift: 10 hours (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) Experience: 2+ years in a dedicated Vascular Lab required License: Active NH license required at time of submission Certifications: BLS, Registered Vascular Sonographer by CCI or Registered Vascular Tech by ARDMS Must-Have: - Skills Checklist matching specialty - Unit specific experience within the last 6 months - Ability to demonstrate competencies Description: The position involves conducting vascular ultrasound examinations. Most patients are adults, with very rare pediatric cases. Candidates without pediatric experience will be considered if they have the required vascular experience. The role requires experience within an acute care vascular lab setting. Tentative approval may be granted for individuals who have experience within the last 9 months and believe their competencies are current. Local candidates are encouraged to apply and will be accepted. A skills checklist matching the specialty is necessary for consideration. Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred, but not required. The laboratory operates with a small team, consisting of full-time and per diem sonographers. Most procedures involve outpatients, with some inpatient exams. Portability is rarely required, and generous scan times are provided. Travelers may need to float to different locations as needed.
