Job Title: Sonographer - Ultrasound/Vascular Profession: Sonographer Specialty: Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: PM (20:30 – 07:00) Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of one year experience required License: RDMS certification in Abdominal and OB/Gyn Certifications: Graduate of an ultrasound program accredited by the Council for Higher Education Must-Have: Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance Description: Responsible for the independent operation of sonographic equipment. Perform and communicate results of diagnostic examinations using sonography. Manage daily operations of the sonographic laboratory and patient schedule. Conduct daily equipment maintenance and quality assurance. Utilize independent judgment during sonographic exams to accurately differentiate between normal and pathologic findings. Obtain appropriate medical history from patients. Communicate findings to the radiologist.
