Job Title

Multispecialty Ultrasound / Echo Technologist (Vascular & Cardiology)

Plainview, TX

Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) | Onsite

• Perform a full range of diagnostic ultrasound imaging including general ultrasound, fetal ultrasound, OB, breast, and transvaginal studies
• Conduct vascular ultrasound examinations as part of a multispecialty imaging role
• Perform echocardiography procedures including adult echo, contrast echo, and echo stress treadmill testing
• Participate in on-call coverage from 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM Monday through Friday, and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday
• Maintain patient ratios of 8:1 and adhere to facility protocols within a short-term acute care environment

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a multispecialty ultrasound/echo technologist
• Proficiency in general ultrasound, fetal/OB ultrasound, breast, transvaginal, vascular, and full echocardiography (adult echo, contrast echo, echo stress treadmill)
• Valid state license or compact license — compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to qualify under travel guidelines
• Ability to commit to working 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• Must provide 2 professional references covering at least 1 year of experience within the last 3 years

• Prior experience in a short-term acute care or Level IV Trauma Center setting
• Familiarity with contrast echocardiography and stress echo treadmill protocols
• Experience working in a multispecialty imaging department covering both ultrasound and cardiology modalities
