As a Travel Welder, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality welding services across various locations, ensuring that our clients receive top-notch craftsmanship and support.
-Travel Pay and Per Diem are involved
-Travel is about 30-35% of your year
-Any time you are not on the road you will be working in shop.

Responsibilities
- Perform welding tasks on-site at various locations, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to execute precise welding operations.
- Utilize various welding techniques
- Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
- Maintain welding equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to meet project deadlines and client expectations.
- Travel to different job sites as required, often with short notice, while maintaining a flexible schedule.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training in welding preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of welding experience in a variety of settings.
- Proficient in multiple welding techniques
- Understanding of safety protocols and best practices in welding.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel frequently and adapt to different work environments.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
You should be proficient in:
- Troubleshooting Skills
- OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
