Position: X-Ray Technologist
Location: Garden City
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Evening Shift
Schedule: 5×8
Experience Required: 2 Years
Weekly Pay:$1900 to $2100
Responsibilities
Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and departmental protocols
Prepare patients for radiographic procedures by explaining exams, reviewing medical history, and ensuring patient comfort
Position patients accurately to obtain optimal diagnostic images while minimizing radiation exposure
Operate digital radiography equipment and ensure high-quality imaging standards
Evaluate completed images for diagnostic quality before submission to the radiologist
Follow radiation safety guidelines and ALARA principles to protect patients, staff, and yourself
Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
