Job Title: X-Ray Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: Previous experience in supporting surgical services Description: This position is for an X-Ray Tech providing support to surgical services. The candidate will be required to be on call for weekends and nights as needed. Floating within the facility and scope of practice may be necessary. Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience are preferred, though the unit accepts first-time travelers. All candidates will undergo a clinical screen to determine fit. If the candidate passes the clinical screen and meets guidelines, they will be submitted for final decision. Travelers are expected to work one major holiday if it occurs during their assignment. If two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both holidays. Three major holidays during the assignment will require the traveler to work two of the holidays. Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day. Full compliance is required for timely onboarding. If compliance is not met, there may be delays in starting. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers. Additional details include staffing support from various interdisciplinary teams. Skills required include experience with a range of radiological procedures and equipment. Priority may be given to candidates with special equipment experience such as O-Arm and trauma cases. Travel experience is a plus, but not mandatory.
