1ST TIMER - TX LIC IN HAND X-Ray Tech- Req 11005 Will position float between units: Yes Is on-call required? No Are weekends required? No Are block schedules required? No What are expected ratios? Pt ratios are not a measure in DX Radiology. Could Image up to 30 patients per day Special requirements: Candidate must be able to independently perform routine and complex X-ray exams and assist with fluoroscopy procedures. Experience working in a fast-paced acute care environment is required. The facility is a Level II Trauma Center. Strong patient care and communication skills are essential. Are 48 hours approved: No Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care Total Staffed Beds: 379 Level II Trauma Center Department Uniform/Dress: a. The dress code for licensed nursing personnel (RN, LVN) is solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire. (Scrub tops may have colored piping.) Print tops are not acceptable attire except for licensed staff in the Children's Hospital (PED, Pedi, PICU, NICU). Women's Services (L&D, Mom/ Baby) will meet the requirements for their unit specific scrub attire. b. The dress code for unlicensed personnel (US, CNA, PCA, NT, MT) is solid hunter green colored uniforms or scrub attire. Print tops are not acceptable except in the areas noted above. Travelers' refusal to float may result in termination of assignment and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours.***** If required for the assignment, Client agrees to supply Providers with communication devices (i.e. cell phone, pager, etc.) needed to perform the duties as assigned at no cost to Provider or Agency. If Client does not provide a mobile phone required for the assignment, Client agrees to pay Agency monthly, for all work-related cell phone use by each Provider, up to a maximum amount of $50.00 as invoiced by Agency. Providers will be responsible for submitting monthly cell phone bill directly to Agency.
