Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Profession: Technologist Specialty: Surgical Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2+ Years of X-Ray Experience, Must Have OR Experience License: Michigan License Verification Required Certifications: ARRT, BLS (AHA) Must-Have: - Must be willing to obtain BLS prior to start - Travel Required Description: Performs a variety of imaging procedures consistent with established policies and procedures at a technical level typically requiring general supervision. Gives straightforward explanations and instructions to foster a sense of comfort and confidence to patients and ensures the needs of individual patients are met. Operates and maintains all assigned imaging department equipment including but not limited to x-ray. Positions patients and uses radiologic equipment to correctly capture the images requested by a physician. Accurately performs all imaging exams as ordered in accordance with established policies, procedures, regulations, and laws. Ensures the physician on duty is notified of the results. Weekends may be required, with a rotation of one week of call per month during the night and weekend shifts.
