Job Title: X-Ray Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 (19:00 - 07:00) Experience: Minimum 18 months required License: Must have in hand prior to start date Certifications: BLS, ARRT required Must-Have: - Previous charge experience is preferred - Patient ratio experience is preferred - Trauma level experience preferred Description: Seeking a qualified X-Ray Technologist to join our team. The role requires an individual who can work collaboratively with other technologists. Daily caseload ranges from 30 to 75 patients. Technologists will work with specialized equipment including Konica U-arm, Phillips, EOS, OEC, Dornier, and Zheim. The outpatient center caters to walk-in patients and conducts fluoroscopy procedures including modified barium swallows and urodynamics. Candidates must demonstrate skills in various x-ray procedures such as abdomen decubitus, chest AP, lumbar spine, and upper GI series. Understanding infection prevention and isolation precautions is essential. Travelers will be required to float to different units as necessary. A commitment to patient care across various age groups, including infants and adolescents, is expected. Reliable teamwork and adherence to safety standards in patient care are crucial.
