Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Profession: Radiology Specialty: X-ray Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Days - Friday to Sunday Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Required Certifications: - Current BLS - ARRT RT (R) Must-Have: - Must have own lead markers - Experience in General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, and Operating Room procedures - Clienttion Badge required prior to starting assignment Description: This position requires a Radiologic Technologist with experience in performing all General X-ray and Fluoroscopy exams. The role involves floating between General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, Operating Room, Emergency Department, and Portable imaging. The department consists of 4 general X-ray rooms and 2 fluoroscopy rooms. The average number of studies performed is 80-100 in a 24-hour period. The shift schedule includes a mix of days, and shifts are posted at least 2 weeks in advance. Weekend shifts and holiday shifts may be required. There may be occasional call requirements with a 45-minute response time. Professional scrubs are acceptable, and hospital scrubs are provided for staff working in the Operating Room. No IV starting skills are required, but they can be beneficial. There is a Radiologist on site 24/7. The organization uses EMR (EPIC) and PACS (SECTRA) systems for imaging and charting. Cancellation policy allows for a limited number of shifts to be canceled during an assignment.
