Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Profession: Radiology Specialty: Radiology Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Evenings Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2-5 years License: RRA, BLS (from AHA only) Certifications: Required Certifications: None listed. Preferred Certifications: None listed. Must-Have Skills/Experience: Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a hospital setting with patient populations from inpatient, operating room, emergency department, and outpatient. Strong communication skills. Ability to provide essential patient care for the exams performed. Description: Assist radiologist and/or performing physician in interventional and special procedures. Procedures include myelography, hysterosalpingography, arthrography, and more. Perform GI procedures and general x-ray procedures using portable, fluoroscopy rooms, and general x-ray room equipment. Perform surgical procedures using C-arms and O-arms. Work as part of a team as well as independently. Available for call when necessary. Work every other weekend and holidays during the contract.
