Job Title: X-Ray Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: CA License required Certifications: Fluoroscopy, BLS, ARRT Must-Have: - Previous experience with required skills - Charting experience with Epic Description: Days, 3 shifts per week. Start date is ASAP. First-timers are accepted. On-call duties are required. The traveler will need to float between units. Weekend work is required, specifics to be discussed. Employment is for an acute care hospital setting. Patients will range across all age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Daily census and visits per day will vary, requiring adaptability. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Refusal to float may lead to termination of assignment or loss of guaranteed hours. Candidates must be willing to work during major holidays. Two references covering the last three years are required. Skills include performing various types of X-ray procedures and the ability to prepare and administer contrast media. Charting will be done using the Epic system. All certifications must be current and provide a copy during submission. Housing options are to be explored by the traveler, as they may be limited.
