Job Title: X-Ray Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 08:00 - 16:30 Experience: Minimum 1 year required License: Valid California License required Certifications: ARRT, BLS, Fluoroscopy Permit required Must-Have: - Experience with specific radiological procedures including abdomen decubitus, abdomen supine, portable imaging, and preparation/administration of contrast media. - Charting experience with Epic is required. - Flexibility to float between units is expected. Description: The position is for an X-Ray Technician specializing in Radiology and Cardiology. The technician will be responsible for performing various radiological procedures. The role requires floating between departments as needed. First-time travelers are accepted. Working weekends may be required. The technician must be willing to adhere to all facility policies and procedures. Candidates must be prepared to work during the major holidays. References covering the previous year are necessary during the compliance process. Travelers may be expected to float between nearby facilities. Communication devices necessary for the job will be provided at no cost. Candidates should arrange for housing options prior to starting.
