Job Title: X-Ray Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:30 - 16:30) Experience: Minimum of 18 months required License: Must have a valid and active license prior to start date Certifications: BLS ARRT Must-Have: Previous charge experience preferred Experience with specified equipment Description: Candidates with pending licenses are acceptable to submit. Candidates must have BLS and ARRT certifications. The daily caseload per technologist ranges from 30 to 75 patients. The role involves working alongside another technologist. The unit serves an outpatient setting, including walk-in patients and fluoroscopy procedures. Procedures include Modified barium swallows and urodynamics. Technologists are expected to be proficient in handling various imaging procedures. Candidates will be required to float within the facility or to nearby affiliates. All travelers are required to float; no exceptions. Travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Please ensure the license is in hand before the start date. Two supervisory references are necessary for submission. Eligible local travelers may receive an in-state rate. Exemptions for specific categories of travelers exist. Candidates are subject to a background policy prior to offer. Experience in trauma facilities is preferred but not mandatory. Floating among departments is a requirement for all travelers. This role emphasizes effective patient care across diverse age groups. Candidates should have experience with various imaging equipment and techniques.
