Job Title: X-ray Technician Profession: X-ray Technician Specialty: X-ray Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 1500-0130, Mon-Thur Experience: 2 years required License: Virginia license required Certifications: BLS (must be AHA), ARRT Must-Have: Must be able to perform OR cases with C-arm. Must be flexible for weekends, with a minimum of one or two twelve-hour call shifts per month. Minimum of 1 or 2 twelve-hour call shifts per month with 1 hour response time. Holidays will be worked into the schedule. Description: Certifications required include BLS, ARRT, and a VA license. Two years of experience is mandatory. Rotations may occur to various areas of the campus. Call expectations are a minimum of 2 twelve-hour call shifts per month. Holiday expectations include working 1 major and 1 minor holiday. Epic access is required, with modules needed in Clientnt. Scrubs must be black, with OR scrubs provided if assigned. Equipment used includes Fuji and Philips. Areas of work include Emergency Department, Inpatient, and Outpatient. Familiarity with EMR systems such as Epic and Visage PACS is essential.
