Job Title: X-Ray Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: Minimum 1 Year Required, 2 Years Preferred License: VA State License or Compact State License Required Certifications: ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: - Epic Charting Experience Required - Level 1 Trauma Experience Preferred - Recent Inpatient Hospital Experience Description: Locals are allowed at the same rate. 1 year of experience is required. 2 years of experience is preferred. Experience in a Level 1 facility is highly preferred. Candidates must have recent inpatient hospital experience. Staff will float within scope if needed. Candidates should provide contact information, including address, phone number, and email. Candidates will be assigned modules during orientation to complete. Candidates must complete modules while working on their unit by the Friday of their orientation week. Candidates must adhere to a natural nail policy. All candidates will be subject to background checks. Candidates are not allowed to start with pending background check results. Candidates must be prepared to submit to fingerprinting as per regulations. This position requires obtaining plain film radiographs for inpatient units using mobile and fixed radiographic equipment. The candidates will need to perform bedside and portable procedures.
