Job Title: Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist X-Ray Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: State License Required Certifications: ARRT R, BLS (American Heart Association only) Must-Have: Level I and II trauma experience preferred Description: We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist X-Ray to perform a wide variety of imaging exams on adults, geriatric patients, adolescents, and pediatric age groups using a variety of radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers. Troubleshoot basic maintenance and participate in quality assurance. Resolve issues related to image processing and the image archiving system. Bring your knowledge to make quick and highly technical decisions to accommodate physical restrictions and pathology. Holiday and standby call may be required depending on operational needs. RRT-R and BLS certification are required along with the state license. BLS certification must be through the American Heart Association only. Pass/Fail testing is required with strict passing criteria. A telemetry exam will be required prior to start. Daily census and patient visits vary by operational needs and community standards. Previous charge experience and patient ratio experience are preferred.
