Job Title: X-Ray Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Diagnostic Imaging Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (08:45 - 17:15) Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: State Radiographer License (Wisconsin) Certifications: ARRT R, BLS Must-Have: BLS Certification through the American Heart Association Level II trauma experience required Level I trauma experience preferred Description: We are seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist to perform a wide variety of imaging exams on patients of all age groups. This position requires the use of different radiographic equipment, computers, detectors, and plate readers. The technologist will troubleshoot basic maintenance issues, participate in quality assurance, and resolve image processing problems. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to make quick and highly technical decisions in response to patient needs. Weekend, holiday, and standby call rotations may be required depending on operational needs. Strong knowledge in radiation safety and infection prevention protocols is essential. Experience with multiple imaging procedures such as chest radiography, trauma imaging, and portable exams is preferred. This role involves working closely with interdisciplinary teams to provide excellent patient care.
