Travel X-Ray Tech - $2,536 per week in Pittsfield, MA

Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Profession: Technologist Specialty: Radiologic Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years experience, 1 year current experience required License: Active Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License required Certifications: ARRT (R), BLS (AHA or ARC) required Must-Have: Must be willing to take call. Must have excellent patient care skills. Must be current with all continuing education for both radiology and mammography. Must have Meditech Expanse experience (strongly preferred). Must have their own vehicle. Description: Perform a wide variety of technical procedures, requiring independent judgment and ingenuity. Require initiative to apply appropriate skills to facilitate a diagnosis. May be assigned independent responsibilities. Responsible for the proper care of clients in accordance with departmental and institutional policies and procedures. May assume responsibilities of supervision or instruction to department personnel. Practice infection control and body substance isolation in compliance with policies and standards. Maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Demonstrate proper operation of computer systems. Demonstrate ability to operate and troubleshoot imaging applications. Attend annual mandatory education to include bloodborne pathogens and infection control. Maintain department competencies as required. Requests for time off during the assignment must be noted during submission. Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work specified holiday weekends. Ensure that all travelers are reachable and have voicemail set up. Profile must include all scheduling requests prior to submission.
