Job Title: X-Ray Technician Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: X-Ray Tech Duration: 8 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (11:30 AM - 8:00 PM) Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred License: Current State License required Certifications: ARRT(R) certification required Must-Have: COVID vaccine and booster required, no exemptions. Knowledge of GE OEC C-Arms, Siemens X-ray, and Shimadzu portables is required. Experience with Philips PACS and Meditech RIS preferred. Description: The position requires proficiency in performing general radiographic procedures. Technicians may need to float to other locations as required. Familiarity with outpatient X-rays, some operating room, and endoscopy procedures is essential. Candidates should have skills in various imaging techniques, including abdomen decubitus and upright positions, C-Arm procedures, and trauma cases. Knowledge of infection prevention practices and isolation precautions is necessary. Ability to work with diverse patient age groups, including neonates, pediatrics, and geriatrics, is required. Candidates should have experience in high-volume settings and adapting to a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential for effective patient care. Attention to detail in capturing patient information and maintaining safety standards is critical. Candidates must adhere to all health and safety guidelines during procedures.
