Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Profession: Technologist Specialty: Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Nights with weekends rotation and on-call Hours per Shift: 11.5 hours (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified License: Registered with relevant state board for Medical Technicians Certifications: ARRT registered or registry eligible, BLS certification Must-Have: Completion of a Radiologic Technology program, knowledge of standard radiologic terminology Description: Performs radiologic examinations and aids in clerical functions. Maintains the smooth and orderly flow of patients through the radiology department. Administers all steps of the X-Ray process with the patient, including pre-exam processing, performing the exam, and post-exam documentation. Maintains cleanliness of all rooms, machines, and cassettes in the department. Keeps inventory of supplies. Carries out other duties as required or assigned.
