The role requires performing and processing X-Rays using portable digital or computed radiography equipment. You will transmit images to a radiologist for interpretation after obtaining clinically diagnostic and technically competent X-ray images. It is necessary to unload portable X-Ray equipment and take it into facilities to perform exams as ordered by physicians. You may also be responsible for performing EKGs as needed and transmitting them for interpretation. You will be required to scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily according to protocol. Regular communication with dispatch and management is expected to ensure seamless operations. Efficient interaction and professional communication with peers, supervisory staff, and clients is essential. Maintaining the vehicle and X-ray equipment is part of your responsibilities. The physical demands of this job may include pushing or pulling equipment weighing 50-100 lbs. Use of vehicle ramps and pulleys can reduce this weight. In various settings, this weight could increase based on the conditions. Managing up to 50 lbs of force or more may occur multiple times each day.
