Job Title: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Profession: Technologist Specialty: Radiologic Technologist - X-Ray Duration: Permanent Shift: Varied Hours per Shift: 8 hours, flexible days; evenings; weekends Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Valid state license in Radiologic Technology Certifications: ARRT Certification Must-Have: - Must live within 30 minutes of the assigned area - Maintain required state licenses and/or ARRT certification - Valid driver's license in good standing - Vaccination against COVID-19, or proper documentation for exemption Description: Serves over 7,500 care facilities nationwide. Role: Provide mobile X-Ray and EKG services to various facilities. Tasks and Responsibilities: Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital or computed radiography equipment. Submit and transmit images to a Radiologist for interpretation. Unload portable X-Ray equipment and transport it to perform exams as ordered by physicians. Obtain clinically diagnostic, technically competent X-ray images. Perform EKGs as needed and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation. Scan exam-related paperwork and follow daily protocols. Regularly communicate with dispatch and management. Interact professionally with peers and supervisory staff. Maintain vehicle and X-ray equipment. Physical Demands: The physical demands described are representative of those required to successfully perform essential functions. Radiologic Technologists may push/pull weights between 50 to 100 lbs with assistance during transport. Efforts may increase when maneuvering equipment within facilities or homes. Pushing or pulling weight may occur 16 to 24 times daily.
