Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Technologist - X-Ray

Job Details:

• Work with EPIC EMR system

• Handle 100-120 scans per day on average

• Work in multiple settings including outpatient, inpatient, emergency department, and surgery

• Operate Siemens equipment for x-ray rooms and portables

• Use GE C-arm equipment in surgery

• Responsible for bringing back outpatients and transporting emergency department patients

• Minimum 24 months of x-ray experience in hospital setting required

• Equipment experience with Siemens required, GE C-arm experience highly preferred

• Experience required in outpatient, inpatient, ER, and surgery settings

• New travelers welcome with required experience

• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT

• Iowa Radiology license highly preferred, must obtain during onboarding if inactive

• Skills checklist specific to radiologic tech/x-ray required

• Professional reference from supervisor within 24 months preferred

• Required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays unless unit is closed

• 16-hour needs-based overtime available
