Description
As a Traveling Assistant Superintendent, you will report directly to the Superintendent and support daily field operations across active project sites.
- Assist in managing day-to-day site activities and subcontractor coordination
- Support schedule execution to ensure key project milestones are achieved
- Monitor safety, quality, and compliance on-site
- Coordinate with Field Engineers and project teams to maintain workflow
- Help track progress using construction management software such as Procore
- Communicate updates and escalate issues to the Superintendent
- Support full-cycle project delivery from ground-up through completion
Profile
For the Traveling Assistant Superintendent role, we are seeking:
- Background in multifamily construction, ideally garden-style or podium
- Experience in a Field Engineer or similar role, or current Assistant Superintendent experience
- 4-year degree preferred; equivalent experience (10+ years) considered
- Familiarity with Procore is a strong advantage
- Desire to grow into a Superintendent-level role
- Willingness to travel nationally full-time
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
Job Offer
- Base salary: $90,000 - $110,000
- Performance-based bonus structure
- Full per diem package covering housing, meals, and travel
