This Traveling Electrical General Foreman opportunity gives you something different: high earning potential with greater stability. You will lead crews on a major commercial project in Barstow, Texas as a W2 employee, with guaranteed 40 hours plus overtime, daily per diem, provided housing and a company provided truck.

$55 to $65 per hour before overtime, plus overtime, plus daily workday per diem.

Earn ~ $5,000 per week.

Working six 10-hour days, earnings potential is approximately $4,210 to $4,910 per week—or $219,000 to $255,000 annualized—before the additional daily per diem or company truck.

Traveling Electrical General Foreman – Your Job Duties

As the Traveling Electrical General Foreman, you will run field operations, coordinate electrical crews and keep work moving safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements. You will:

  • Supervise and coordinate the daily work of electrical crews and subcontractors on the job site
  • Manage multiple crews, manpower, workflow, and field priorities
  • Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and project plans
  • Monitor project progress, schedules, manpower requirements, and field production
  • Coordinate with Project Managers and General Contractors to keep work moving and address field needs
  • Communicate material needs, workforce requirements, project status, and potential challenges
  • Provide technical direction to Foremen, Journeyman Electricians, and Electrical Apprentices
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues and resolve field challenges
  • Maintain quality control and electrical code compliance throughout installation
  • Enforce OSHA requirements and company safety procedures
  • Conduct toolbox talks, safety meetings, and field training
  • Hold your crews accountable for quality, safety, production, and schedule

Traveling Electrical General Foreman – You Have (Required Skills, Experience & Team Fit)

You have:

  • Prior experience working as an Electrical Foreman, General Foreman, or in an electrical field supervisory role
  • Prior experience managing multiple electrical crews and coordinating manpower in the field
  • Strong knowledge of NEC codes, electrical systems, and construction safety requirements
  • Prior experience working on commercial or industrial electrical projects
  • Strong ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
  • The ability to troubleshoot electrical issues and provide technical direction to experienced electricians
  • A valid driver's license / ability to drive a company provided truck
  • Ability to successfully complete required pre employment background and drug screening

You might have:

  • A Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician license
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • A crew of Foremen, Journeyman Electricians, or Electrical Apprentices you have successfully worked with before to bring with you
