We're expanding our field leadership team and looking for a driven Superintendent ready to take ownership on job sites nationwide.The RoleAs a Traveling Construction Superintendent, you'll be the boots-on-the-ground leader for our self-perform interiors crews, keeping projects moving safely, on schedule, and to spec. You'll run our scope on site from layout through punch and closeout, working directly with our project managers, the general contractor's superintendent, and other trades on site. This is a full-time travel position supporting commercial interior projects across the U.S., with company-paid lodging and per diem.What You'll Be DoingLead all on-site interiors work from initial framing layout through drywall, finishes, ceilings, punch, and closeoutPlan and manage daily manpower, build look-ahead schedules within the GC's master schedule, and keep crews productiveCoordinate daily with the GC superintendent and other trades on sequencing, area turnover, and conflicts in the fieldSchedule material deliveries, stocking, and equipment such as lifts with our project managers and vendorsDirect and support field crews and foremen, setting clear expectations for performance, quality, and accountabilityMake sure work meets drawings, specs, and UL fire-rated assembly requirements, and prepare for above-ceiling, cover, and framing inspectionsGet ahead of problems by flagging scope gaps, field conflicts, and extra work early, and document them so change orders get written and paidKeep thorough records, including daily logs, manpower reports, progress photos, and change order documentationChampion a jobsite safety culture grounded in industry best practices and OSHA standardsWhat You Bring3+ years as a superintendent on commercial construction projects, with drywall, metal framing, or acoustical ceiling experience strongly preferredSubcontractor-side field leadership experience preferredWillingness and ability to travel full time to project sites nationwideStrong layout proficiency on complex commercial interiors, including laser layout and control linesAbility to read and interpret architectural drawings, reflected ceiling plans, wall types, and specifications with confidenceWorking knowledge of fire-rated assemblies, deflection and head-of-wall details, and drywall finish levelsExperience running manpower and look-ahead schedules on fast-paced jobsSharp attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality workClear, effective communicator with general contractors, crews, and internal project teamsOSHA 30 certification (required)Comfort with technology and cloud-based field reporting platforms.
