Traveling Electrical Superintendent

We are working with an established commercial electrical contractor looking to add an experienced Traveling Electrical Superintendent to its field leadership team. This position will oversee commercial electrical projects throughout Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi.

The ideal candidate has a strong background managing electrical crews on commercial construction projects and is comfortable traveling throughout the Southeast. This is a hands-on field leadership position for someone who can keep projects organized, maintain schedules, coordinate with other trades, and ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day electrical field operations on commercial construction projects

• Lead and coordinate electricians, foremen, subcontractors, and field personnel

• Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and daily work activities

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and project documentation

• Coordinate with general contractors, project managers, other trades, inspectors, and customers

• Monitor project schedules and help keep work on track

• Ensure installations meet project specifications, NEC requirements, and applicable codes

• Maintain jobsite safety, quality, and productivity standards

• Identify field issues early and work with project leadership to resolve them

• Track project progress and communicate field updates to project management

• Assist with material planning, deliveries, inspections, punch lists, and project closeout

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Electrical Superintendent, General Foreman, or senior electrical field leader

• Strong commercial electrical construction experience

• Experience overseeing projects from mobilization through completion

• Ability to manage crews and coordinate multiple areas of work

• Strong understanding of electrical drawings, specifications, and commercial electrical systems

• Knowledge of NEC requirements and standard construction safety practices

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Ability to travel extensively throughout GA, FL, AL, and MS

• Valid driver's license
