Job Description
Develop, implement, and maintain the project-specific Quality Control Plan (QCP) to ensure compliance with contract requirements. Perform routine field inspections of civil, structural, architectural, and MEP work to verify compliance with plans, specifications, and federal standards. Facilitate Preparatory, Initial, and Follow-Up inspections in accordance with USACE/NAVFAC quality management requirements. Review and coordinate subcontractor submittals, shop drawings, material certifications, testing reports, and RFIs to ensure contract compliance. Prepare daily quality control reports, inspection records, testing logs, deficiency logs, and turnover documentation for government review. Maintain Non-Conformance Report (NCR) logs, identify quality deficiencies, implement corrective actions, and monitor closeout of quality issues. Serve as the primary quality liaison with USACE, NAVFAC, Air Force, Army Corps inspectors, and other owner representatives during inspections and audits. Monitor subcontractor work, ensure adherence to project quality standards, conduct quality meetings, and drive continuous process improvement throughout the project lifecycle.

The Successful Applicant
8-10+ years of federal construction experience. Minimum 5 years of experience in a Quality Control Manager role. Proven experience working on projects valued at $50M+. Willingness and ability to travel for project assignments (3 weeks on-site / 1 weekend home). Strong financial acumen and client management skills. Familiarity with EM-385 safety standards. Proficiency with MS Office. U.S. Citizenship required. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
