Join a leading general contractor with a fast-growing portfolio of laboratory, pharmaceutical, commercial, and healthcare projects! They're looking for a Superintendent to oversee a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from new construction to complex renovations.
Client Details
My client is a full-service General Contractor in the St. Louis Metro area. They focus on projects in the laboratory, pharmaceutical, commercial, and healthcare projects spaces. My client has an upcoming clean room expansion $25M pharmaceutical project. Candidate must be open to travel to the job sites full time.
Description
- Coordinate field teams, consultants, and suppliers in the correct sequence so work progresses without delays.
- Create site‑specific safety strategies along with emergency response procedures tailored to each project.
- Arrange and oversee inspections required by local authorities throughout the build.
- Develop, update, and manage the master project timeline and short‑term planning schedules.
- Record daily site activities in a detailed written log to document project progress.
- Identify and resolve punch list items to close out the project successfully.
- Conduct early‑stage planning, including job site logistics and identifying gaps or overlaps in scopes of work.
- Keep the project team informed on clarifications, design changes, and material approval processes.
Profile
- 10+ years of construction experience as a Superintendent
- Previous Lead Superintendnet experience working on commercial, pharmaceutical, and healthcare projects
- Experience working on $10M - $25M value projects
- Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, market conditions, and subcontractor trades
- Proficiency in software and construction tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Highly organized with strong analytical and decision-making abilities
- Ability to travel
