    Our Equipment Division here at Morgan Corp. is looking for a skilled and self-sufficient Field Mechanic to keep our job sites running by servicing and repairing heavy diesel equipment on location. Whether it's a blown hose or a machine that won’t start, you’ll be the go-to problem solver keeping crews productive and downtime minimal. If you thrive in the field, work well independently, and know diesel systems inside and out, you’ll fit right in.

    Key Responsibilities


    • Travel to construction sites to diagnose and repair diesel-powered equipment such as excavators, dozers, compactors, and haul trucks.
    • Perform on-site preventative maintenance and emergency repairs.
    • Identify mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues with limited access to shop tools.
    • Communicate clearly with foremen, operators, and supervisors to coordinate repairs.
    • Maintain a clean, well-stocked service truck and accurate maintenance records.

    Skills, Knowledge and Expertise


    • 2+ years of field or shop experience servicing heavy diesel equipment.
    • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electronics.
    • Comfortable working in outdoor conditions (heat, mud, terrain).
    • Highly dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently.
    • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; CDL or DOT medical card a plus.
    • Familiarity with CAT, Komatsu, Volvo (Preferred, not required).
