Traveling Heavy Equipment Mechanic

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Traveling Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. This role involves traveling to various job sites to maintain, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment used in construction and other industries. In this position, the technician will be traveling across the U.S to perform in -depth repairs and maintenance on various heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities:<\/b>

• Travel to different job sites to perform maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
  <\/li>
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability.
  <\/li>
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  <\/li>
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  <\/li>
• Collaborate with site managers and other team members to ensure efficient operations.

  Qualifications:<\/b>
  <\/p>

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
    <\/li>
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a heavy equipment mechanic.
    <\/li>
  • Extensive knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
    <\/li>
  • Strong diagnostic and problem -solving skills.
    <\/li>
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
    <\/li>
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work in various locations.
    <\/li>
  • Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
