CCS Construction Staffing is actively hiring Traveling HVAC Technicians for various sites in North Carolina and southern Virginia. This is an immediate opportunity for qualified professionals seeking steady work.

As a traveling service technician, you will cover multiple commercial sites across locations such as Raleigh, Wilmington, and Roanoke. Your primary responsibilities include control wiring, setting up HVAC equipment, restarting systems, and possibly brazing. The role offers flexibility in transportation - you'll hop on a company vehicle (not driving) or drive your own to different project sites. Lodging is provided, along with a $25 per diem when traveling outside the local area. This position involves primarily travel and local work, with a pathway to direct hire. Ideal candidates bring experience in HVAC service, wiring, and control setup, with a willingness to travel extensively.

Job Title: Traveling HVAC Technicians

Pay Rate: $25 - $35 and $25 Per Diem

Location: Mount Airy, NC

Employment Type: Full-Time / Project-Based

Schedule: Typically 10 hours per day, sometimes 8 hours, guaranteed 40 hours per week

Start Date: ASAP

Scope of Work

• Perform control wiring on HVAC systems
• Set up and restart HVAC equipment in commercial buildings
• Conduct brazing as needed
• Travel between multiple project sites in North Carolina and Virginia, including lodging arrangements
• Work independently or with minimal supervision on various HVAC projects

Requirements

• Minimum of 7 years of experience required
• Experience in control wiring, brazing, and HVAC setup
• Willingness to travel extensively within North Carolina and southern Virginia
• Valid driver's license or transportation to local sites
• Ability to work in commercial environments and adapt to different work sites
• Ability to pass a phone or in-person interview based on location
