Location: Must reside in Utah (Anywhere within the state)

Travel: Required throughout Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, and California

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Traveling Industrial Superintendent to lead ground-up industrial and commercial construction projects across the western United States. This role requires a hands-on field leader with a proven history of successfully managing large-scale projects while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, schedule, and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate currently lives in Utah and is comfortable traveling extensively to support projects throughout the region.

Required Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)

  • Must currently reside in Utah. Candidates living outside Utah will not be considered.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively throughout:
    • Utah
    • Idaho
    • Arizona
    • Montana
    • New Mexico
    • Nevada
    • California
  • At least 60% of construction experience must be on the following project types:
    • Ground-Up Tilt Wall Construction
    • Industrial Warehouses
    • Distribution Centers
    • Self-Storage Facilities
    • Cold Storage Facilities
    • Structural Concrete Projects
    • Automotive Dealership Construction
  • Previous experience as a Superintendent leading field operations on commercial or industrial projects.
  • Strong understanding of scheduling, safety, quality control, and subcontractor management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all field operations from mobilization through project completion.
  • Manage daily activities of subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents.
  • Coordinate project schedules and daily work plans with project management teams.
  • Conduct subcontractor meetings, safety meetings, and owner walkthroughs.
  • Monitor quality control and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or budget.
  • Maintain project documentation including daily reports, inspections, and progress updates.
  • Coordinate inspections, permitting, and project closeout activities.
  • Foster a positive jobsite culture centered on accountability, safety, and teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing multiple industrial or commercial ground-up projects.
  • Strong background in tilt-up construction and structural concrete.
  • OSHA 30 Certification.
  • Proficient in reading construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or Autodesk Construction Cloud.
