Job Summary
<\/h2>

We’re seeking a Traveling Journeyman Electrician<\/b> to join our network of contractors. In this role, you’ll perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems at various commercial and industrial job sites. You’ll travel from site to site, working independently or alongside project teams, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and to code.

Key Responsibilities
<\/h2>
  • Install, wire, and commission electrical distribution equipment (motor controls, panels, MCCs, VFDs)
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults on 480V and 120/240V systems
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Pull cable, terminate conductors, and mount raceway/conduit
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Perform preventive maintenance per manufacturer and NFPA 70B guidelines
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Collaborate with site supervisors, general contractors, and other trades
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Maintain jobsite safety—conduct daily inspections and adhere to PPE protocols
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Document work performed: time sheets, material usage, and service reports
    <\/p><\/li>

  • Travel overnight, staying in company‐booked lodging; manage per diem expenses
    <\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    Requirements<\/h3>

    Required Qualifications
    <\/h2>
    • Valid Journeyman Electrician license or certification in your home state
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Minimum 4 years’ commercial/industrial electrical experience
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical test equipment
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E arc -flash safety, and OSHA regulations
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Ability to read and work from electrical prints, and panel schedules
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Comfortable working at heights (scissor lifts, scaffolding) and in confined spaces
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; DOT medical card a plus
      <\/p><\/li>

    • Willingness to travel 60–75% of the time and stay overnight
      <\/p><\/li><\/ul><\/div><\/span>
