Medical Operations Specialist (LPN)

New York Region | Full-Time | Exempt | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM | Travel Up to 50%

The IMA Group is seeking an experienced Medical Operations Specialist (LPN) to support clinical operations, staff training, compliance, and quality assurance across our New York locations. This position will be based out of the IMA office closest to your residence, with travel throughout the region as needed. Occasional Saturday travel may be required.

Salary Range: $60,000–$65,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Train and onboard medical staff on clinical procedures, workflows, safety protocols, and compliance standards.
  • Serve as a clinical resource for policies, procedures, and contract requirements.
  • Conduct clinic audits, competency assessments, and quality assurance reviews.
  • Support contract compliance, OSHA readiness, and regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoot clinical workflows, equipment, billing, and operational issues.
  • Coordinate equipment inventory, maintenance, inspections, and calibration.
  • Monitor performance metrics and assist with implementing corrective action plans when needed.
  • Support new client implementations and operational setup.
  • Train staff on pulmonary function testing (PFT), electrocardiograms (EKGs), diffusing capacity of the lungs for carbon monoxide (DLCO), audiometers, spirometers, vision screening equipment, and occupational health protocols.
  • Maintain training records and support audit readiness.

Qualifications

  • Active LPN license in good standing.
  • 3–5 years of clinical experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
  • Strong communication, training, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred
  • Associate degree or equivalent.
  • Occupational health experience.
  • Experience with compliance, audits, and staff development.
