For traveling team members, the company also provides the option to relocate into a local market later in your career.Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities - Traveling MEP Project ManagerLead all project management activities for large-scale, design-heavy MEP scopes on complex construction projects across multiple regionsManage project budgets, financial performance, forecasts, cost controls, and reporting for MEP packages typically $20M+Oversee subcontractors, engineering partners, and field teams to ensure quality installation, schedule alignment, and system integrationDrive coordination efforts for mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems with engineering, design partners, and GC teamsAct as the primary client-facing representative for all MEP-related communications, issues, and progress updatesLead internal and external meetings, facilitate problem-solving discussions, and proactively navigate challengesEnsure compliance with project requirements, design intent, and installation standards for complex building systemsMentor assistant project managers and project engineers, contributing to people development and team growthSupport business development efforts through relationship building, technical expertise, and project excellenceTravel consistently to project locations with the option to relocate to a local office in the futureThe Successful ApplicantTechnical degree strongly preferred (mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, construction management, etc.)Experience managing $20M+ MEP scopes on complex commercial, industrial, mission-critical, or IDP projectsStrong financial acumen - forecasting, cost management, budgets, and project financial controls7+ years in construction project management (PM level and above), with proven people management and mentorship skillsExcellent client-facing communication skills and the ability to develop long-term partnershipsCoachable, team-oriented, and aligned with a relationship-driven cultureBusiness development experience is a plusWhat's on OfferCompetitive salary $125,000-$175,00015-20% annual bonus$1000/month vehicle allowanceIndustry leading travel benefits, per diem, and company-supported lodgingFull health, dental, vision benefits401(k) with company matchPaid holidays and paid time offIndustry-leading technical training and leadership development programsOption to relocate into a local office if travel is no longer preferredLong-term career mobility within a well-established, growing national contractor
