Traveling Project Engineer
Location: 100% project-based travel - United States
Company: The Boldt Company – National Power & Industrial
Anticipated Salary Range: $65,000 - $91,000

At Boldt, we build more than complex projects—we build strong relationships, great teams, and lasting impact.

Boldt is hiring a Traveling Project Engineer with our National Power & Industrial (NPI) team. In this role, you’ll be an integral part of delivering renewable energy, power generation, and industrial projects across the U.S., working side‑by‑side with experienced project leaders and field teams from planning through execution. The anticipated salary range for this position is $65,000 - $91,000 annually. This information reflects the anticipated base salary for this position based on current market data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual’s skills, experiences, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

This is a hands‑on, relationship‑driven role that collaborates closely with project managers, superintendents, field teams, subcontractors, and vendors to keep work moving and aligned. It coordinates drawings, RFIs, submittals, schedules, and cost information with clarity and responsiveness, while staying actively involved in site walks, inspections, and daily construction activities to understand sequencing, quality, and safety expectations. Through strong relationships and open communication, this role supports projects from early execution through successful delivery on job sites across the country.

This position requires regular travel to project sites and offers the opportunity to work across renewable, power generation, and industrial markets within a nationally recognized, employee‑owned organization.
