Quality Assurance / Quality Control EngineerThe Quality Assurance / Quality Control Engineer will report into Quality leadership and work closely with project management, fabrication teams, field operations, and subcontractors. This role will be responsible for maintaining quality standards throughout mechanical construction and fabrication activities.Perform inspections of piping systems, welds, HVAC equipment, and mechanical installations to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards.Review technical drawings, fabrication documentation, and inspection reports to ensure quality requirements are achieved.Coordinate third-party inspections and testing activities throughout fabrication and installation phases.Document non-conformance issues, recommend corrective actions, and track resolutions through completion.Maintain detailed quality records, inspection reports, testing documentation, and project quality metrics.Partner with project teams, shop leadership, field personnel, and subcontractors to proactively resolve quality concerns.Drive continuous improvement initiatives while promoting a strong safety-first culture across all project activities.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
