Our partner is looking for a Traveling Retail Merchandiser - Daytime in Naperville, IL. This role supports a growing network of retail merchandising professionals who serve thousands of brands and retail partners nationwide, helping shape the future of shopping experiences and connect shoppers with the products they need. Training, team support, and career growth opportunities are provided to help new team members succeed.
This position provides in-store merchandising support to retailers, including building displays and end caps, resetting shelves with product rotation, and tracking inventory to help stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities. This is a traveling role that requires regular travel as a core part of the job, with travel requirements of up to 50% or more of the time, including overnight stays.
Responsibilities
- Provide in-store merchandising support to retailers to meet shoppers' needs
- Build displays and end caps
- Reset shelves and manage product rotation
- Track inventory to help stores and suppliers maximize sales opportunities
- Travel regularly to retail locations, including overnight stays, up to 50% or more of the time
- Interact with customers, retail staff, and management in a professional and positive manner
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Able to perform physical tasks including moving, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable transportation to and from work locations
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills when working with clients, customers, and team members
- Willingness to travel within and outside of home state, including overnight hotel stays
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
- Able to perform job duties with a safety-first approach in a retail environment
- No prior experience required; training and team support provided
