If you're eager to travel for projects and passionate about enhancing safety measures both within our company and for our clients, we'd love to hear from you!What You'll DoAct as the lead safety personnel on projectsProvide high-level safety management and offer proactive safety solutions to the project management teamConduct training sessions, presentations, and safety orientations for new hires or subcontractorsDevelop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety training programs and policiesResponsible for all OSHA correspondence on the projectConduct regular site inspections and audits to identify potential safety hazards, assess risks, and ensure compliance with safety standardsDevelop the Pre-task Analysis processEffectively manage safety risks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry best practicesWhat You'll BringAdvanced knowledge of excavations, concrete, and steelExpert knowledge of safety policies and proceduresExcellent knowledge of data analysis and risk assessmentDemonstrates advanced leadership and accountabilityExcellent communication, organizational, and motivational skillsFamiliarity with project management software (Autodesk, Procore, etc.)Bilingual in English and Spanish preferredExperience5+ years of experience in a construction-based health and safety roleEducationAssociate degree in Safety or related field; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Experience may be substituted for a degreeCHST certification requiredAdvanced certification in safety preferred (ASP, CSP, or SMP)Travel RequirementsThis position will require short and long-term travel.
