Johnson Service Group is now hiring Traveling Site Safety Manager (Conveyor / Logistics / Automation projects). Remote work is available from any state in the United States. Travel to sites in the US and Canada is required.Job Details:This is a direct hire fully benefited position.Salary: $70,000–$85,000 depending on experience.Remote based on location.Per Diem: Receive $59 per day, 7 days a week.Flights, Hotel, and Rental Car are paid by the company through corporate travel bookings.Hours: 50 hours per week.Travel home every other weekend. Alternate 2‑week periods of travel to the customer site and travel home.Must be able to travel 100% anywhere in the US.Must pass drug and background check.Must be a US citizen or permanent resident—visa sponsorship not available.Responsibilities:Act as the principal contact for Health and Safety Management on the site.Conduct risk assessments for the installation site; instruct and coordinate with employees, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.Monitor and coordinate prevention and mitigation measures for health, safety, and environment.Lead and record regular safety meetings.Inspect safety‑relevant issues during routine checks.Serve as the contact person for all accidents, near‑misses, and incidents.Restrict or cease work activities when safety issues are unresolved.Ensure compliance with all federal and state safety rules and regulations.Issue yellow and red safety cards as required.Work with site manager to enforce restricted access to the building site.Verify display of statutory notices and emergency instructions.Monitor installation of mechanical/electrical assemblies.Oversee start‑up and software installation.Serve as contact person for subcontractors.Drive continuous improvement and training to meet legal OHS requirements.Effectively communicate safety information to subcontractors.Meet regularly with subcontractors to ensure compliance with standards.Maintain staff oversight to ensure application of the safety plan, policies, and procedures.Communicate efficiently with colleagues and customers to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions.Qualifications:OSHA 500 (Construction) and/or OSHA 501 (General Industry) certified.
