Traveling Site Supervisor - Banking Industry Construction - Base Salary to 90k/year - Milford, OH

• Our client is an established commercial general contractor specializing in construction projects throughout the Midwest. Their work includes ground-up commercial construction, tenant improvements, renovations, and projects completed within active occupied spaces. They are seeking a Traveling Site Supervisor to oversee subcontractors and self-performing crews on commercial construction projects throughout the region.
• The Traveling Site Supervisor will provide hands-on field supervision from project startup through completion, coordinating subcontractors, crews, materials, schedules, and jobsite safety. This role requires commercial carpentry experience, construction supervision experience, ground-up construction experience, and the ability to perform hands-on carpentry work when needed. Frequent regional travel is required, with regular travel home provided.

Responsibilities:

• Track project workflow and ensure subcontractors and self-performing crews are prepared to complete scheduled work
• Coordinate delivery of construction materials, equipment, and other jobsite resources
• Supervise subcontractors and self-performing construction crews
• Coordinate labor requirements across trades to support construction schedules
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Crew Leads, subcontractors, and other project personnel throughout the project lifecycle
• Communicate with clients regarding onsite construction activities
• Coordinate construction activities within active occupied spaces while maintaining access and accommodating ongoing operations
• Work nonstandard shifts as required by individual projects, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Document relevant jobsite and project activity in the company database
• Monitor compliance with onsite construction safety requirements
• Read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience in commercial carpentry required
• Construction supervision experience required, including experience as a Site Supervisor, Superintendent, Foreman, or similar field construction leadership role
• Ground-up commercial construction experience required
• Hands-on commercial carpentry experience, including the ability to perform field carpentry work as needed
• Ability to work nonstandard hours, including nights, weekends, and bank holidays
• Ability to travel frequently throughout the region, with regular travel home provided
• Must live within commutable distance of the Cincinnati or Louisville airport
• Experience coordinating with Project Managers, Crew Leads, subcontractors, and construction trades
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications
• Ability to meet job-related security screening and company driving requirements in accordance with applicable laws.
  
• Basic computer and tablet proficiency

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 70k – 90k/year range, plus overtime adding up to 100k/year (or more)
