Traveling super - East Coast Retail

A national design-build GC is seeking a Traveling Superintendent to lead fast casual and grocery construction projects across the East Coast. This role requires strong client-facing presentation skills and the ability to manage projects from Miami up through the Mid-Atlantic.

Client Details

A well-established national general contractor and design-build firm with a strong presence across the East Coast. Their core work includes fast casual restaurants (Chick-fil-A, Raising Cane's, Chipotle, Panera) and grocery stores (Whole Foods, Sprouts, Fresh Market), with expanding projects in storage, distribution, and data centers. The majority of projects span from Florida to DC Metro, the Carolinas, and Georgia.

• Run high-visibility ground-up and TI projects from start to finish
• Build nationally recognized brands in fast casual and grocery sectors
• Lead subcontractors and drive projects to hit schedule and budget
• Own site safety, quality, and daily operations
• Act as the face of the company to clients and stakeholders

Profile

A successful Traveling Superintendent should have:

• 10+ years of construction experience with strong project ownership
• Experience delivering retail, restaurant, or grocery projects
• Confident, polished communicator with a client-first mindset
• Open to consistent East Coast travel

Job Offer

$110,000 - $130,000 base salary

• $35/day per diem + all travel expenses covered
• $400/month vehicle allowance + $125/month phone stipend
• Company-paid flights home every other weekend
