Traveling Superintendent - Commercial ConstructionOur client is a growing regional construction firm with an expanding footprint across Texas and the central U.S. They are recognised for delivering high-quality ground-up K-12, healthcare, hospitality, and retail projects and offer a clear path for career progression within a stable, forward-thinking organisation.First assignment: Santa Fe, New Mexico. Future projects across Texas and other central U.S. regions.Job DescriptionAs a Traveling Superintendent, you will work with the Project Manager and take full ownership of on-site delivery, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.Lead and coordinate all site personnel, including assistant superintendents, field engineers, subcontractors, and tradesTake full responsibility for project scheduling, including short-term interval planning and long-term milestone trackingManage subcontractor performance, sequencing, and workflow to maintain project momentum and avoid delaysOversee quality control, ensuring all work is delivered in line with plans, specifications, and regulatory standardsMaintain strict cost control by monitoring labour productivity, material usage, and equipment efficiencyAct as the primary on-site liaison with ownership, design teams, and key stakeholdersDrive a culture of safety by enforcing policies, leading regular meetings, and holding all personnel accountableMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
