Job Description

Act as the primary leader of subcontractors and field staff on a job site. Maintain project safety in accordance with company's safety policy. Develop and update the project schedule, resource allocation, and work processes. Prepare two-week look ahead schedules. Oversee daily construction activities ensuring work meets quality standards, project timelines, and budgets. Conduct regular site inspections, identify and address quality issues, and ensure work meets project specifications. Identify and resolve issues promptly and effectively to maintain project momentum and project schedule. Assist with the buyout and selection of major subcontractors. Maintain strong communication with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders. Coordinate the work of the subcontractors' field staff. Maintain accurate cost reports. Ensure all required paperwork is completed, accurate, and timely. Adhere to all company policies, standards, and procedures. Provide opportunities to help the team develop, learn, and grow. Nationwide travel required for this role.

The Successful Applicant

Experience: 8+ years of Project Superintendent experience required. Commercial construction experience working for a general contractor (GC) is required. Experience leading, developing, and mentoring a team. Experience with Aviation or Mission Critical project types is desired. Skills: Ability to read/interpret construction documents. Knowledge of construction methods and materials. Excellent project organizational skills. Impressive leadership skills with the desire to teach, mentor, and develop a team. Business acumen and relationship building skills. Excellent verbal and written communication across all levels of the organization.
